An extremely stable method of
flooring, being very versatile in respect of the substrate it is
laid over, can be floated, nailed or glued down. |

Suitable for under-floor heating (not
possible with some species of timber). |

Generally factory finished with
a choice of lacquered, oiled or waxed dressings which
provides the perfect finish, sometimes too perfect (slight
damage can be obvious).
Additionally they are available unfinished ready for fine
sanding and sealing on site to give a
more natural appearance. |

On top, precious decorative
timber is used for the wear layer below for reasons of
stability a resistant, fast growing or non decorative wood
species for the support layer. This results in a
technically superior product and sensible use of timber.
